Virtual Hunt Group

Virtual Hunt Group allows multiple phone lines, whether they are land lines, cell phones, or VoIP lines - from multiple service providers - to be tied together by a single virtual main number. When an end user calls the main number, the call is intelligently routed to the next available line.

Call routing can be based on a number of intelligent algorithms including round robin, last call answered, average call time, and a check-in/check-out system.

Virtual Hunt Group is a technology that was pioneered for use in the Obama campaign's boiler rooms, where it was used to successfully route tens of thousands of calls across a highly scalable VoIP network to a diverse group of phone lines.
