Music for Action

Rogue Global Solutions has teamed up with HeadCount and the NRDC Action Fund to provide a "Best of Bonnaroo" music compilation featuring Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson and other artists who care about climate change. It is free at www.musicforaction.org to anyone who emails their elected officials on the issue.

To support Music for Action, Rogue Global Solutions provided social media and web strategy as well as hosting and content distribution services.

Haiti Earthquake Relief via Text

I have been very impressed with the power of Twitter and micro-giving through text messages today. After the 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti yesterday there has been an outpouring of support on the popular social networks. Many of the trending topics on Twitter today gave people instructions how to use their cell phone to make a small donation to the relief efforts.
